The Great Ocean Road One Day Adventure
Private Phillip Island Tours (Penguin Parade)

On a Phillip Island private tour, you will encounter little penguins, wallabies, kangaroos, emus, wombats, and koalas.

Our tour starts at the Maru Koala Park. This is a place that holds some very rare treats such as an albino kangaroo and endangered animals such as the bilbies and Tasmanian devils. You can feed, pat and have your photo taken with many species of native Australian animals and birds. Shows run throughout the day to educate you on the wildlife and the farming in Australia.

Next stop is the wonderful chocolate factory. The chocolate factory has a variety of many different tasty chocolates and you also have the option to do a fun, interactive tour through the factory.

Churchill Island is Victoria’s first farm, a place surrounded by water, filled with beautiful gardens of herbs, vegetables, flowers, and fruits. It’s also home to many farm animals such as highland cattle, horses, chickens, and sheep. The buildings have been fully restored to its original beauty and is open to the public. You can wander around the old house, work sheds, barns, paddocks and stables that each hold their own purpose in the farming lifestyle. This is a great place for you to come back to your element and see how much hard work running a farm would have been without the modern technology we have today.

Huge cliffs carved by the strong winds and waves of the Bass Strait, we visit Seal Rocks. Here you can look through cameras at the Nobbies Centre and see one of the largest colonies of Australian fur seals. The highlight of this location is the wonderful board walk around the coastal cliffs. Seal Rocks offers spectacular views of the rough ocean, jagged rock formations and even a chance to see some little penguins inside their nests. After we soak in the views and enjoy our walk, we will take a scenic drive along the coastal road towards the Penguin Parade.

The last but most eventful stop on each Phillip Island private tour is the Penguin Parade. Every night as the sun goes down, thousands of little penguins arrive ashore to come home after a big day of fishing at sea. Overlooking the stunning beach, you will see them grouping together for their waddle across the beach. Once a few groups have arrived ashore you can walk through the surrounding boardwalks and watch the penguins in their natural habitat.
